Those in the Hopkinsville area and beyond probably aren't thinking about the fall of 2012 quite yet. Known for its adventurous spirit, powerful V8 acceleration and ability to tow heavy cargo, the Pathfinder elicits an image of prime utility and rugged design. But for the next model year, company officials say it will get a significant makeover. Unfortunately we can't tell you exactly what the revamped SUV will look like. Starting with the body, word on the street is that the model will get a more aerodynamic design marked by highly dramatic cues. Much of the trademark Pathfinder style will remain the same but Nissan says it will be wrapped up in a new platform. Moving to the interior, drivers and their company will settle in to far more comfortable, spacious seating while still being able to store plenty of extra cargo. Following in the footsteps of other models such as the Nissan Altima, the next-gen Pathfinder will get a technological makeover and work to satisfy consumers' connectivity cravings.
