Fastest Man and Machine Team up for New Nissan Campaign
Plain and simple, the Nissan GT-R is one muscular machine. Garland Nissan doesn't think anyone would argue that. Bearing this in mind, we think it's quite fitting that Nissan chose Usain Bolt to promote the next-gen GT-R in the automaker's first-ever global brand campaign. And just who exactly is the Usain Bolt character? That would be the fastest man on earth of course.
Quite fitting if you ask us. Apparently, Bolt himself agrees. In the company's first behind-the-scenes video which launched the campaign, the Jamaican-born sprinter says of the stellar Nissan sports car, "...we just go together."1
In addition to introducing the latest GT-R variant, the "WHAT_IF" global marketing initiative will tout the automaker's latest advances in technology by putting forth questions such as:
"What if your car could clean the air?"
"What if your car could make life better?"
"What if your car could charge your house?"
The goal here is to get consumers thinking in the same innovative, progressive way Nissan engineers and designers think on a daily basis when concocting new Nissan vehicles.
