U.S. Market Set to See Greater Nissan Share

Along such lines, we're pleased to say that the future of Nissan is looking mighty bright.
Specifically, company officials recently announced that the automaker expects to claim a remarkable 10 percent of the United States market by 2015 or 2016. As in the spirit of Nissan however, the goal doesn't end there. Bill Krueger, Vice Chairman of Nissan Americas, notes, "The pieces are falling into place...We won't sit there; we'll keep deploying new products. Reaching 10% share is a moment to savor, but not the end."1
How does Nissan plan to obtain such a generous portion of the U.S. market? Hard work, dedication, and the launch of five stellar, refreshed new Nissan models. First up is the newest Nissan Altima followed by 2013 variants of the Pathfinder, Sentra, Rogue, and Versa.
In order to facilitate all this growth, Nissan will add an extra shift at its plant in Smyrna, Tennessee. Of course, this means more than just increased autos. The automaker's expansion also translates to more jobs for hard-working individuals.
